Find out how to attract your dream relationship in just six simple steps! Follow these universal laws, and true love will be yours, says Alisdair Lobo

When I started using quantum healing and universal laws to help clients have more fulfilling relationships, the results were extraordinary, not just for those looking for a relationship, but also for those dealing with the loss of one. Here are some of the key universal laws that have helped many people I know, including me, attract and maintain their dream relationship. The quantum healing I practise is where spirituality and science blend to become one. The application of the laws of quantum physics to relationships, health and wealth provide insights to the pathway to love and fulfilment. There are some well-known universal laws such as the law of gravity, of which we are all aware. The reality is that many people are either not aware of, or do not follow the other universal laws that govern the quality of the relationships we have. These laws are…

The law of self-worth

You are truly worthy of love, so learn to love yourself more. This law is also known as the law of self-esteem. In this context, ‘selfesteem’ is not about thinking you look fabulous or having a big ego; it is about self-love that empowers you to love others even more. The greater your self-esteem, the more attractive you will become energetically to someone else. A great teacher of mine once said that a fulfilling relationship is where one plus one equals three, not where two halves are trying to make a whole. When someone has low self-esteem and feels inadequate they often feel like half a person, looking for another half to make a whole, which is the cause of many unfulfilling relationships. ‘Wholeness’ in this context is about when your love for yourself stands up without any dependency on love from another. When two such people come together, they become greater than the sum of the parts, hence the reference to one plus one equals three.

The law of uniqueness

You are unique and special, so be yourself. This universal law sounds obvious and simple, but it is the one that is most often broken by people looking to attract their soul mate. If you are honest you might see times when you may have pretended to be someone you are not, believing at some level that you are not special enough to have the relationship of your dreams. If you look back at the first law you are definitely special and unique and truly worthy of love, so make the most of your own unique gifts and talents, and emphasise your good points, both physically and mentally.

The law of fair exchange

Soul mates give and receive in equal balance. If you are too altruistic and give too much you will undoubtedly attract someone who wishes to take more than give, and who will not respect you. But if you are too demanding you will also attract someone who is too accommodating, and who you will not respect enough to love unconditionally.

The law of trust and allowing

Are you scared of being hurt? Maybe old hurts have formed barriers. Your fear will be transmitted energetically and will also lead you to consciously or unconsciously sabotage any possible relationship. Sometimes you just have to let go and take a chance! Have you ever heard the saying, ‘It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all’?

The law of attraction

This is one of the most misunderstood laws. You will attract a soul mate based on the quantum vibration/energy frequency you are emitting. In essence, this means that thoughts become things. So think about and visualise the sort of person you would love to meet. What are they like? What kinds of conversations might you have with them and what might they look like? It is essential that this is done in conjunction with the four previously stated laws. Manifestation of a soul mate comes thorough spiritual congruency.

The law of abundance

Does your unconscious mind really want you to have a relationship right now? I have clients who say they really want a relationship, yet we uncover that they have been subtly sabotaging potential relationships. Often the reason is that they have been hurt in a previous relationship or have some other reason for fearing being hurt this time. Even though some people consciously want a relationship, their powerful subconscious mind subtly sabotages every opportunity. The good news is you can override this unconscious sabotage, consciously, by focusing on loving yourself more. There are an infinite number of ways to love yourself and we all have our own unique journey. Try this exercise: write down a list of five family members or friends who love you the most, then step into their shoes for a moment and write down what it is that each of them likes/loves about you. Keep going and make a note of what comes up, taking a moment to thank yourself for each one.
